Mumbai: The two-and-a-half-year-old Uddhav government in Maharashtra has come under threat after Shiv Sena MLA and minister Eknath Shinde took a rebellious stand. Due to this, the political turmoil in the state has intensified. Bjp state president Chandrakant Patil claims that the script of the entire political development has been written by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray's khasmakhas Sanjay Raut. He says that sanjay raut's provocative statements have led to this situation in his party.

It is also being told that Eknath Shinde will soon form a new Shiv Sena party along with his 35 rebel MLAs. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and the party's move to soft Hindutva, leaving their Hindutva image, are being cited as the reasons behind their rebellion and resentment. Due to this, they had been taking an opposing stance for a long time. However, bjp state president Chandrakant Patil said it was too early to say anything.

From working in a beer brewery to running his livelihood in Thane to driving an autorickshaw and becoming the most powerful leader in the current Shiv Sena after Thackeray, 58-year-old Eknath Shinde on Tuesday seems set to join the ranks of leaders like Chhagan Bhujbal and Narayan Rane, who had earlier succeeded in splitting the Shiv Sena.
