We have often heard of curses in the Puranas. Curses were always given in anger. These hasty decisions later gave rise to many crises. One such cursed place is Spain's 'Trasmoz'. This village is called the Village of Witches. There is such a great curse over this village, which only the Pope of Rome can remove.

This leads to a strong sense of witchcraft. The stories of the curse of this village still fill the Spanish people with fear and mystery. The mysterious village, which has been inhabited in the peaceful atmosphere of Spain's Moncayo Mountains, currently has a population of just 62. The reason behind this declining population is said to be called the witches of this village.

In this village, years ago, witchcraft was used to deceive. There was also a use of making fake coins around the 13th century. The magic that happened here went on with generations. An anecdote is also associated with the pope's anger here. Years ago, people here stopped paying taxes to the Catholic Church. Annoyed with this, the chief pope cursed the villagers. He used the most powerful mantras for this.

For many years after the incident, the people of Trasmoz village faced hardships. The fortress was burnt here. People left their homes from here. Despite all this, the rituals of witchcraft did not diminish. The Feria De Brujeria Festival, which takes off in June every year, is a market for miraculous drugs that grow in the mountains. People perform rituals by creating a cordon here and remembering the envisaged witches. The more mysterious this village is, the more strange it is. It also tells us that the existence of witchcraft or not will exist around us as long as we are.
