 Thor Love and Thunder has recorded an excellent weekend at the Indian box office. The film, starring Chris Hemsworth as the titular character and introducing Christian Bale as the antagonist named Gorr the God Butcher, collected â‚¹64.80 crores in its first weekend. The Sunday collections of the film were similar to its opening figure of â‚¹18.20 crore.

Chris Hemsworth-starrer Thor: Love and Thunder is doing great business in India and worldwide. The film will soon cross the $300-million mark globally. Within four days of its release in India, the Chris Hemsworth-starrer is nearing the Rs 50-crore mark in India. At the global level, trade experts are predicting the film to hit the $300-million mark. Thor: Love and Thunder is part of Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Meanwhile, in North America, the film has already crossed $100 million, as per a report by Deadline. Another report from the publication states that internationally, the superhero adventure has grossed over $100 million internationally.

The movie was directed by Taika Waititi, the film stars Chris along with a stellar ensemble cast that includes Tessa Thompson, Natalie Portman. The film also marks Christian Bale's MCU debut. Marvel Studios’ Thor: Love and Thunder is released in India on 7th July in 6 languages: English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. The storyline of the film follows Thor, who embarks on a journey, unlike anything he's ever faced - a quest for inner peace. However, his retirement gets interrupted by Gorr the God Butcher, a galactic killer who seeks the extinction of the gods.

This is the fourth part of the Thor franchise and the best debut part as it collection is comparatively very big than the previous. Surely, the Indian audience is loving the story of this movie.
