Lucknow: UP CM Yogi Adityanath visited Saifai in Etawah district, the home town of his predecessor Akhilesh Yadav. The chief minister's remarks appeared to be a dig, aimed more at his predecessor. During the visit, he took stock of the health facilities at Saifai Covid Hospital.
In fact, CM Yogi said, "Those who were opposing the BJP vaccine are now praising it and asking for it for free. This shows his dual character." He said this while talking to the media during his visit to Saifai. He added that 'The protesters have now come out in support of the vaccine because it is a protective shield.' Moreover, CM Yogi appealed to all to get vaccinated. Former UP CM and SP President Akhilesh Yadav had initially severely banned the corona vaccine and asked him not to get it done himself. During that time, he called it the BJP vaccine.
At present, CM Yogi assured that "in view of the possible third wave of corona, the government will first vaccinate the parents of children below 10 years of age as it will reduce the risk on children." Just yesterday, CM Yogi first reached the Institute of Medical Sciences where he met corona patients and inspected the 1000 litre oxygen plant built here to supply oxygen without any hindrance.
