Congo: According to Mathieu Alimasi Malumbi, the transport minister for South Kivu province, a small plane with a crew of three went missing on Saturday.
On Saturday morning, the plane departed from Kavumu airport, which serves Bukavu, the capital of the South Kivu province, with the intention of landing at Kasese airport. The minister did say that after takeoff, all contact with the plane was lost.
Authorities say a search operation is in progress.
