Australian Test captain Tim Paine has said that he will keep a close watch on the England and West Indies Test series to be held next month. England and West Indies will play a three-match Test series, which starts on July 8.

This will be the first series of cricket after the break due to Covid-19. Paine said that some rules have to be followed during this series and that is why everyone will watch this series very carefully to see how things happen. Matches will be played in an empty stadium without spectators. Bowlers will not be able to use saliva to shine the ball.

Paine said, "I am eager to see Test cricket again like everyone else. I have to see how the series between West Indies and England happens and how are things happen in this series that has never happened yet. I think it will be very interesting, certainly for me and coach Justin Langer as well as Australian international players, we will watch it very carefully."
