After knowing what happened in Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) located in Tirumala, Tamil Nadu, your senses will be blown away. In fact, the Consumer Court here has ordered a fine of Rs 45 lakh to the temple if a devotee does not get darshan for 14 years. Yes, you all must know that every year crores of devotees come to visit Tirupati Devasthanam in Tirumala, the world-famous temple. In fact, here people get their booking done for darshan months in advance, although a devotee did not get the booking for darshan (TTD Booking) for 14 years. Due to this, the consumer court reached against TTD. It is being told that after hearing the matter, the court has ordered TTD to either give a new date of booking for darshan to the devotee or give him Rs 45 lakh as compensation.

What is the whole matter? According to a report that surfaced, a person named KR Hari Bhaskar had booked for Vastralankara service in the year 2006 for Rs 12,250. At the same time, after this, the temple gave him slot booking in the year 2020 but due to the Corona epidemic, the temple remained closed for 80 days. At the same time, even after the opening of the temple, all the earned service including Vastralankara was banned. Yes, and in such a situation, the temple canceled Bhaskar's booking and gave him the option of VIP break darshan or refund. After all this, Bhaskar asked to reschedule the Vastralankara service, however, the temple administration was not ready for this and asked to take a refund.

When this happened, KR Hari Bhaskar reached the Consumer Court in Salem, Tamil Nadu regarding this matter. Here Bhaskar made his complaint, then after hearing the whole matter in the court, it has been decided that either from the TTD temple body to Bhaskar at the rate of 6% interest every year from 2006 till date an amount of Rs 12,250 return it to the devotee. Along with this, pay a fine of 45 lakh rupees for not having darshan at the right time or fixing a new date for the devotee for Vastralankara service. It will be interesting to see what the temple body does now.
