Karan Johar’s upcoming movie Kalank is creating quite a buzz since the released of its teaser. The makers have enhanced the excitement of the fans by treating them with two impressive songs - Ghar More Pardesiya and First Class. Now, the makers of Kalank are all set to unveil the film's third song on Friday.
The film's title track, titled Kalank Nahi Ishq Hai, has been sung by Arijit Singh and the lyrics have been penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya. As per the reports, the song's montage video will focus on Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan's characters - Roop and Zafar - respectively besides featuring other cast members including Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur.
Composer Pritam Chakraborty revealed that the title track describes the emotional space for characters. He said "I would give a lot of credit to Amitabh for writing a song with a word like Kalank; it's not easy and he wrote multiple versions of the song of which one made the cut." He added that Arijit, the singer, invested his energy to make this track soulful and beautiful.
The makers have previously unveiled two songs, out of which one introduced viewers to Alia's character Roop and the other gave viewers insight into Varun's character Zafar. directed by Abhishek Varman and produced by Karan Johar, Sajid Nadiadwala and Fox Star Studios. It stars Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjay Dutt. The film is slated to release on April 17.
