Kolkata: The entire opposition, since the Enforcement Directorate (ED) action in West Bengal, has been demanding the removal of Partha Chatterjee, a minister in the Mamata Banerjee government, from the cabinet. Meanwhile, now in the Trinamool Congress (TMC), voices have also started to rise against Partha Chatterjee. TMC spokesperson Kunal Ghosh has demanded the immediate removal of Partha Chatterjee from all posts in the ministry and the party. He should be expelled from the party. Not only this, Kunal Ghosh said that if the party feels that my statement is wrong, then the party can remove me also. I will always be a TMC warrior.

Let us know that the ED has received a pile of notes from two of Arpita's locations. A day earlier on July 27, the investigating agency had recovered around 29 crore cash and 5 kg of gold from another flat in Belgharia of actress Arpita Mukherjee in Kolkata. It took the ED team about 10 hours to count the money. The most surprising thing was that Arpita had hidden this money in the toilet of the flat. The probe agency had recently arrested Partha Chatterjee, a minister in the Mamata government, in connection with a money laundering case related to the teacher recruitment scam. Arpita Mukherjee is very special for Partha Chatterjee. Five days ago, the ED received Rs 21 crore in cash and gold from Arpita's flat. After which, on July 23, the ED arrested Arpita.

Not only this, the ED, which is probing the money trail in the teachers' recruitment scam, had also questioned TMC MLA Manik Bhattacharya, former chairman of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education, in connection with the case. The investigating agency raided several locations in Rajdanga and Belgharia in south Kolkata on Wednesday morning. These properties reportedly belong to Arpita Mukherjee. Arpita Mukherjee had disclosed these properties during the ED's interrogation. The investigating agency had to break the door to enter these flats as they could not find the key to it.
