Kolkata: The Trinamool Congress (TMC) is being attacked by other opposition parties, including the BJP, over the teacher recruitment scam (SSC scam) that has emerged in West Bengal. In fact, Partha Chatterjee, who has been removed from CM Mamata Banerjee's cabinet, claims that he has been framed and there is a big conspiracy behind it. Opposition leaders are demanding a reply from Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee over the statement. At the same time, senior TMC leader Saugata Roy said that no one in the party, including Mamata Banerjee, was aware of such activities.

MP Saugata Roy further said, "We had no idea that such things were going on. As soon as we came to know about it, we took action. CM Mamata Banerjee removed him from the ministerial post. If Suvendu Adhikari has any evidence, it should be handed over to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and not in the media.'' It may be recalled that senior BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari on Friday said that according to the Supreme Court, the ED is a competent agency. Let them investigate. Everyone knows that Partha Chatterjee's syndicate racket was going on under the direction of CM Banerjee. The main agenda of TMC is corruption. It is only because of public pressure that the TMC has removed Partha from his posts.

A day after being removed from all posts in the TMC and sacked from the cabinet, Partha Chatterjee on Friday said a conspiracy was being hatched against him. He had also said that time will tell whether the action taken by the Trinamool Congress against him was justified or not.
