A special court in Delhi has reserved its judgment in the CBI vs CBI alleged corruption case. The court has taken this decision after the CBI's charge sheet was presented. The court can pronounce the verdict regarding this. The CBI had registered an FIR against former CBI officials Rakesh Asthana and Devendra Kumar in a bribe case.

On 15 October 2018, the CBI had registered an FIR against Rakesh Asthana for allegedly taking bribe from an accused investigated by him and gave a clean chit in the case. The court on Saturday reserved its verdict on the charge sheet filed in the CBI bribery case, in which former special director Rakesh Asthana was recently given a clean chit.

According to the media report, CBI Special Judge Sanjeev Aggarwal was quoted as saying that the court will deliver its verdict at 3 pm today. Before the CBI vs CBI case of alleged corruption, while considering the charge sheet in a special court in Delhi, there was a lot of discord between current and former investigating officers (IO) Satish Dagar and Ajay Kumar Bassi. Dagar said that Bassi was removed from the post of OI due to his biased investigation.
