Los Angeles: On Sunday, in a tragic incident, a tour bus collided with a truck on a major highway in southern California killing thirteen people and injuring thirty one people.
California Highway Patrol (CHP) Chief Jim Abele said, that, “the bus was traveling west on Interstate 10 when the crash occurred near Palm Springs, a city about 100 miles (160 km) east of Los Angeles when the incident occurred”.
It has been shown in the photographs of the scene that, the face of the tour bus jammed inside the back of the trailer, and the metal ladders were used by the emergency workers to enter in the bus.
According to the National Transportation Safety Board, “it will investigate the crash and is sending an investigative team to the site.”
