The prices of the top four Urban Cruiser Hyryder models have been made public by Toyota Kirloskar Motor. Prices for the Urban Cruiser Hyryder now range from 15.99 lakh to 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom) (ex-showroom). These prices apply to top-spec mild hybrids and powerful hybrid versions. The SUV was first unveiled in early July, and subsequent pricing announcements will happen in stages. Here is the price list broken down by version.

Variations of the 2022 Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder

Toyota will provide four variations of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder. The mild hybrid engine will be available in all four variations, however, the strong hybrid engine will only be available with the S, G, and V variants. There are four variants: E, S, G, and V. The mild hybrid engine's S, G, and V models will also be available with an automatic transmission.

There are two petrol engine choices for the Urban Cruiser Hyryder. The mild-hybrid engine used in Maruti Suzuki vehicles is the same one that is currently in use. It has a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder engine that has a maximum output of 103 horsepower and a maximum torque of 137 Nm. A 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission or a 5-speed manual transmission is available as options. This engine is known by Toyota as "Neo Drive." Additionally, Toyota offers an all-wheel drive system with this engine, but only when paired with the manual transmission.

Then there is Toyota's powerful hybrid engine. It has a three-cylinder, 1.5-litre engine that uses the Atkinson cycle. It generates 122 Nm and 92 horsepower. An additional electric motor with 79 horsepower and 141 Nm of torque is present. The total power output is rated at 114 horsepower. Toyota claims to have a 27.97 km/l fuel economy rating.

Rivals of the 2022 Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder

The Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, MG Astor, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, and the incoming Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara will compete against the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder. The SUV must contend with the MG Hector, Kia Carens, Mahindra Scorpio, and Mahindra XUV700 due to cost.
