A double decker bus and truck collided on the GT Road Highway here, after which a huge fire broke out in the bus. 30 people died in this accident. At the same time, 21 people are injured.

According to information received from sources, it has been learned that the bus was going to Jaipur from Gursahaiganj in Kannauj. At the same time, CM Yogi Adityanath has taken quick notice of this incident. And he said that all possible help is being provided to the injured. CM Yogi has announced a compensation of Rs 50,000 to the injured and Rs 2,00,000 to the families of the deceased. At the same time, PM Modi has expressed grief on the accident by tweeting. PM Modi tweeted that I convey my condolences to the families of the dead, as well as wish the injured to get well soon.

It has been learned that Kannauj District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar said that there were about 43 people in the bus. 21 people have been injured in the accident, who have been admitted to the hospital. The fire has been controlled. He told that rescue work is going on. The Collector said that the bus was from Farrukhabad. 26 passengers rode from Gursahaiganj and 17 passengers from Chhibramau.


CM Yogi Adityanath directed the District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police of Kannauj to immediately reach the spot and provide better medical facilities to the passengers. The incident took place at 9.30 pm on Friday night. The truck also caught fire after the accident. According to reports, the passengers were unable to escape after the bus caught fire.


Two completely safe, sent houses: It is being said that IG range Mohit Aggarwal of Kanpur range said that 25 passengers have been saved. Of these, 12 have been admitted to the Tirva Medical College and 11 to the District Hospital for treatment. He said that two passengers were completely safe, who were sent home. IG said that 18 to 20 passengers are missing. He may have died, but this is not yet certain.
