AHMEDABAD: The news of a painful accident is coming out from Gujarat. Here a speeding car trampled 12 pedestrians. Six of these passengers died on the spot. Most of these passengers were residents of Kalol in the Panchmahal district and were on foot for Ambaji Darshan. On getting information about the incident, an ambulance reached the spot and took the injured passengers to the hospital.

The seriousness of the accident can be gauged only by looking at the condition of the car. The front body of the car is completely shattered. The Ambaji temple of Gujarat is said to be a confluence of strength, devotion and faith. Lakhs of devotees from all over the country and abroad come to this temple for the Mother Goddess.  

Let us tell you that earlier on the day of Rakshabandhan, there was a horrific accident in the Anand district. Six people lost their lives in a road accident here. The victims of the incident were coming back after celebrating Rakshabandhan. According to the information, the accident happened near Dali village of Sojitra tehsil of Anand district. Here there was a collision between a car, an auto rickshaw and a bike. The fierce clash between these vehicles was so fast that six people lost their lives. Of these, four people died on the spot, while two died on the way to the hospital.
