Another development and transport minister P Ajay Kumar in Hyderabad on Friday gave Rs 5 lakh to rebuild the shopping complex in the Mosque in Khammam.

As part of the road width in the city, the Mosque-e-Mustafa shopping complex on the Bonakal highway was demolished some time ago. At that time, MLA Ajay Kumar assured the members of the Masjid Committee that some money would be provided for the reconstruction of the Mosque if they cooperated with the development work.

The minister continued his promise and handed over Rs 5 lakh from his pocket to the members of the Mosque Committee and then participated in Friday prayers.
