In Haryana, a Bolero returning from marriage was hit by a dumper near Bhatla village on Hansi-Barwala Road in Hisar district on Saturday morning. In addition to the bride and groom on board bulero, six Baratis were injured in the tragic road accident. An 11-year-old girl lost her life in the accident. Police and ambulance rushed to the spot and brought the injured to civil hospital from where Hisar has been referred in view of the critical condition of the bride and groom and other baratis.
It is learnt that Anil Kumar, a resident of Badsi village near Hansi, had gone to Jalandhar in Punjab. On Saturday morning, Barat is returning when a tyre of a dumper coming from the front near Bhatla village burst, leaving the dumper unbalanced and hit a Bolero full of baratis. The incident was so severe that Bolero's was blown away and fell into the fields far away. About 6 baratis other than groom Anil and bride Amrita were seriously injured in the Bolero. The groom's niece 11-year-old Sneha died while treatment. Women Rinku, Sunita, Mangeram, Dharambir etc. As soon as the incident was reported, the family rushed to the civil. Police have initiated action in the case. Family members said Anil Kumar works as a plumber and had gone to Barat Jalandhar on Friday.
Criminal who fled the spot: Friday night was a wedding ceremony and in the morning he had gone back from Jalandhar to Badsi village. But his car was the victim of the incident just a few kilometres away from reaching his village. The truck driver left the truck on the spot and fled. Inspector Sukhdev, who is in charge of Sadar police station, said that an inquiry has been initiated into the matter.
