A case of fire has been reported in a building in the Kanjurmarg area of Mumbai in Maharashtra (Kanjurmarg). A Level 2 fire has created a hue and cry in the NG Royal Park Fire area here. About 10 fire tenders have reached the spot as soon as the incident was reported. According to the information, fire fighting operation has also been started at present.
A few days ago, a fire was also reported in the grassland in Mumbai's Kanjurmarg area. A major fire broke out in the dry grass present at the Kanjurmarg Metro Car Depot here. The smoke that came out after the fire was visible several kilometres away. Because the fire broke out in the dry grass it started spreading even faster. Due to the fire, deep black smoke had spread throughout the area.
7 killed in fire in 20-storey building: According to the information received, a Level 3 fire has been reported in the 20-storey Kamla Building near Bhatia Hospital in Taddeo, Mumbai. 13 fire tenders were sent to the spot. The BMC had informed that seven people had lost their lives. Four of them were taken to Nair Hospital. Two people were declared dead. 15 people were taken to Bhatia Hospital.
