Kolkata: The matter of controversial remarks made on President Draupadi Murmu is not stopping. Along with the BJP, now the Congress has also come out against the statement of West Bengal Minister Akhil Giri. The process of filing one complaint after another against Akhil Giri has started. Today i.e. on Sunday (November 13) morning, BJP MP Locket Chatterjee lodged an FIR against Giri at North Avenue Police Station in Delhi.

At the same time, protesting against the remarks of Akhil Giri, the people of the tribal society blocked the road in Bankura. Since Sunday morning, supporters of several tribal committees took to the streets in Khatra, Bankura and demonstrated their protest by stopping the car of Jyotsna Mandi, a minister in the West Bengal government. It is worth mentioning that BJP has already filed a complaint against TMC Minister Akhil Giri in Malda, Habibpur for making derogatory remarks about the President.

Not only this, but Congress is also criticizing this statement of the West Bengal minister in a big way. Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury has also reacted sharply to Akhil Giri's statement saying, 'Politics is not a beauty contest. But who will teach this to TMC leaders? There is only one way to teach a lesson to TMC and that way is to bring a change of power in Bengal.'
