Kolkata: Polling is underway for 30 seats in West Bengal assembly elections. In view of which stringent security arrangements have been made, there is no disturbance. By 9 o'clock in the morning, everything was going well, but thereafter the figures released were low voting percentages, after which the tension of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) increased. At the same time, TMC has written a letter to the Election Commission raising the issue of voting percentage disturbances.

According to TMC MP Derek O'Brien, the polling percentage at polling booths in Kanthi South (216) and Kanthi North (213) at 9.13 am was 18.47% and 18.95% respectively, but declined to 10.60% and 9:40% respectively at 9.17 am after four minutes. TMC is suspected of any disturbance, which is why the election Commission should take cognizance of it. Derek further said that TMC will win in Bengal. In addition, the daughter of Bengal will give a traitor from Nandigram to the traitor of Bengal. Tourist gangs come here and ruin the culture here. The women of Bengal will continue to wear sarees as they wish.

In the Bhagwan Pur assembly constituency, the Sattamal polling booth also took place in the morning, in which the Jawans were reported to have been injured. TMC alleges that BJP workers have occupied several polling booths in Midnapore. At the same time, voters are being prevented from voting. For this also, TMC has complained to the election commission. According to the election commission, the situation is normal in all places. In Bengal, 24.61 percent polling was recorded till 11 am.
