As soon as Rohit Purohit and Sheena Bajaj’s pre-wedding celebrations began, the photos and videos from their functions flooded on the internet and we couldn’t help but drool over them. For the wedding, the Tujhse Hai Raabta actress opted for the bridal colour of red and looked resplendent in a lehenga while her fiancé, the Bharatvarsh actor complemented her in a red-golden coloured sherwani. Sheena Bajaj is 24, and Rohit Purohit is 29, did their age-gap pose a hindrance for their wedding? Rohit had answered before their wedding, “The age factor doesn’t really matter. In fact, in my case, my parents felt that I was ready for marriage when I turned 22. So, in that sense, I am already late (laughs!). Sheena and I have been together for five years and it felt right to take the plunge.”

It was Sheena Bajaj and Rohit Purohit's first Holi post-wedding, and speaking about the double excitement for the same, Sheena had shared  "It going to be very special as my in-laws are here. There is a ritual where the Saas and Bahu don't stay in the same house for a day and they don't see the same Holi burning. So for that one day, I'll be staying with my family. But my mother in law is so fond of me that she really does not want me to go. She says that she'll really miss me as when I'm not home, there is no entertainment!" Further talking about how she likes to play Holi, Sheena added, "I just like doing Pooja. I don't like to play Holi at all ...I think Mumbai has a lot of shortage of water and we should save it so as an individual I do my bit. Also, it causes a lot of air pollution and there are colours which are very bad for the skin. Plus these fall on animals and they harm them too. I have never really played Holi. I just put a tika max."
