Twinkle Khanna on Thursday shared a post, remembering her late mother-in-law, Aruna Bhatia, on her first death anniversary. The actress penned a heartfelt not sharing a picture with Aruna that also featured husband Akshay Kumar as well as her sister-in-law and her husband.
Twinkle captioned the note and wrote, "My fabulous mother-in-law once told me there can’t be two tigresses in one field. She meant the two of us. She was right. There was only one real tigress. The rest of us paled in comparison. Her one-liners were as legendary as her generous heart." As soon as it catches the eyes of people they started showering their love. Bobby Deol dropped heart emojis. One of her fans commented, “She will live forever in our hearts.” Another fan wrote, “My heartfelt condolences. Om shanti.” Other fan wrote, “That's superb.. May she rest in peace..and she will, because she had such gorgeous people like you around her.. more power to you.”
Aruna Bhatia passed away on September 8, 2021 at Mumbai's Hiranandani Hospital. The Raksha Bandhan actor, who was shooting for a film in the United Kingdom, had returned to India to be with his ailing mother. Sharing the information Akshay Kumar wrote, "She was my core. And today I feel an unbearable pain at the very core of my existence. My maa Smt Aruna Bhatia peacefully left this world today morning and got reunited with my dad in the other world,"
On the work front, Twinkle Khanna recently fled to pursue masters in fiction writing. Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar’s Atrangi Re star's new film Cuttputlli recently premiered on a leading streaming platform. The crime action thriller co-starring Rakul Preet Singh and Chandrachur Singh is the Hindi remake of the Tamil film Ratsasan, which was released in 2018. The Bollywood heartthrob has several other exciting projects in his kitty including Ram Setu, OMG 2 – Oh My God! 2, Hindi remake of Soorarai Pottru remake, and Selfie.
