Twitter CEO to Interpret the Limitations Being Set by Musk

New Delhi:- After deciding the limitations for the user Twitter CEO Linda Yaccarino on Tuesday defended a temporary cap on the number of tweets users can see per day announced on July 1, saying the company said the measure would allow users to as per Elon Musk said the expert's performance had been stable for days after provoking strong criticism from Yahoo and marketing.

In a tweet, Yaccarino wrote that "If you have a mission like Twitter, you have to take big steps to keep the platform strong." In a statement on Wednesday, Musk said the move was aimed at "extreme proportions." Prevent data theft and system manipulation.

But now in the days following Musk's announcement, Twitter users posted screenshots showing tweets no longer appearing, even on corporate advertiser pages, after the limit was reached. Marketing officials also said it could undermine Yaccarino's efforts to attract advertisers.

Twitter says the restrictions affect only a small percentage of the platform's users. "Ensuring the credibility of our user base requires us to take extreme measures to remove spam and bots from our platform," the company said in a blog post on Tuesday.

The restrictions came into effect shortly after Twitter began requiring users to log into their social media platform accounts to view tweets.

Facebook parent company Meta Platforms said it plans to launch a micro-blogging app called Threads. The launch would be a direct challenge to Twitter, which has come under heavy criticism since Musk bought the company for $44 billion (roughly Rs 3,374.65 crore) in 2022.

When asked by email why the CEO had not commented on the move until three days after the announcement, Twitter did not comment, instead sending Reuters a poop emoji, the company's default response to media inquiries.

The users are not happy with the limitations that Elon Musk has set for the safety of the user data as they have to make a  mandatory login to the Twitter account.

Twitter has made a new application called Threads suffer after it got acquired by Elon Musk but it is made according to directly compete with Twitter in the market.
