In the Assembly elections, a case has been reported from Shahdara to cut the ticket of Aam Aadmi Party MLA and Assembly Speaker Ramnivas Goyal and claim good penetration in the party and ask for Rs 2.5 crore in the name of getting the ticket. There has been a stir in the political world regarding this matter. Goyal's son caught the accused Vasant Vihar resident Vishal Sagar (22) and handed it over to the Vivek Vihar police station. Police has registered a case of extortion attempt.

In his statement, Deputy Commissioner of Police Amit Sharma told that his son Sumit was present in Goyal's camp office located in Vivek Vihar B Block on Wednesday afternoon. During this time Vishal arrived and told himself to be associated with the Aam Aadmi Party. He told Sumit that the party has cut his father's ticket this time, but he can get him a ticket from Gandhinagar. Instead, two and a half crores will have to be paid. He asked for Rs 50 lakh in advance.

For your information, let us tell you that on Sumit's refusal, he started threatening to discredit his father. Sumit caught the young man and informed the police. The police arrested him. Investigation reveals that he is not associated with any party. Vishal is mechanical engineer and committed this incident to earn money.
