Two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel sustained injuries in an IED explosion that occurred in the vicinity of the Barsoor police station, as confirmed by Dantewada Police on Saturday. The law enforcement officials stated that the injured jawans are currently receiving medical care and are reported to be out of immediate danger.

"Dantewada Police has reported that two CRPF jawans were injured in an IED blast near the Barsoor police station. They are currently receiving treatment and are out of immediate danger," said report, citing the police statement.

This incident unfolded just before the impending announcement of the Chhattisgarh Assembly Election results, slated to be revealed by the Election Commission of India on December 3. The election process for the 90 Members of the Legislative Assembly was conducted in two phases. The initial phase of voting took place on November 7, followed by the subsequent phase concluding on November 17.

 

The anticipation mounts as the Election Commission prepares to unveil the results for the Chhattisgarh Assembly Election on December 3, following a comprehensive electoral process conducted in two stages on November 7 and November 17 for the 90 legislative assembly seats.
