Lucknow: For the past few days, many types of cases are coming from Uttar Pradesh. A case has come to the fore, in which the Yogi government has suspended two IPS officers, taking strict decisions in the case of cheating in the livestock department. IPS officers Dinesh Chandra Dubey and Arvind Sen were accused of financial irregularities, on which action has been taken. The Yogi government has given instructions for strict action.

On the other hand, COVID-19 is wreaking havoc in Agra. Another bad news came on Monday morning. After the death  Mandalayukt Anil Kumar's father, his mother died today. She was undergoing treatment at a hospital in Noida. Both people were COVID-19 infected. With the death of the commissioner's parents in two days, there has been a wave of mourning in the administration. On August 5, the Health Department did a random sampling of 26 people at the commissioner's residence on Mall Road. The COVID-19 infection was confirmed in six people, including the commissioner's mother, father and sister.

The reports of the commissioner, his wife and both children came negative. The commissioner's parents were formerly admitted to the private COVID Center on MG Road in Agra. Both were referred to the higher centre when the situation did not improve. They were admitted to Jaypee Hospital, Noida. Ramesh Chand Meena breathed his last there at 12 o'clock on Saturday night. His body came to Agra at 10.30 am on Sunday. 24 hours after the father's death, 69-year-old mother Vijay Laxmi also succumbed. Collector Prabhu N Singh has confirmed this.
