Qatar: United Arab Emirates (UAE) Minister Omar Sultan Al Olma on Wednesday (October 26) praised India's External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar. UAE's Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy said he was impressed by India's External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, who has done a great job globally amid geopolitical tensions.

Omar Sultan Al Olma participated in a think tank conference in Delhi online. Union Ministers of India and many MPs also participated in this conference. Sultan has said that 'I am very much impressed by your foreign minister S Jaishankar. I watch some of his speeches. One thing is very clear for both UAE and India we don't have to choose sides. He said that if the UAE works with India, it does not mean that it cannot work with the US. All three of us can work together. The I2U2 (India-Israel-UAE-USA) group is a great example.'

Further stressing on the importance of trade and investment, the Minister of State said that the time has come to dominate the world through trade. He said that countries like India and UAE can work together to spread their footprint all over the world. Uae Minister Olama said at the CyFY2022 event that, 'India and uae have a deep relationship. There are many potential areas for cooperation, especially cooperation in partnership with startups in both countries.'
