According to the Union Health Ministry, the total number of infected cases has increased to 3,19,34,455 after the new cases came in, out of which about 3.11 crore people have recovered. The recovery rate in the country is currently 97.39 percent. The number of active cases in the country has come down to 4,06,822, which is 1.27 percent of the total cases of infection.
