Big news has come about the university and college exams. Under which, now the stuck examination has to be conducted on 30 September. This permission has been received from the Ministry of Home Affairs. After which the UGC has decided late on Monday night that a revised guideline has been released for the examinations of universities and colleges. In which the imperatives like conducting examinations in July have been abolished. Also, stating that final year exams are mandatory, they are allowed to be conducted by the end of September. Which can be done online and offline through any means. In addition, the UGC has also given this exemption to universities and colleges, they can do these examinations till September 30, depending on the local conditions. However, the UGC will have to provide this information.

Earlier, UGC has released the guideline on 29 April. In which all universities and colleges have been instructed to conduct final year examinations from July 1 to July 15. Also, for the first and second-year examinations, the time was fixed from 15 to 30 July. Meanwhile, in view of the fast-growing transition of Corona, many states and universities had given up on conducting examinations under the present circumstances. After which the Ministry of Human Resource Development had instructed the UGC to review the guidelines issued for the examinations afresh.

For your information, let us tell you that UGC has constituted a high-level committee in Haryana Central University after this. It has been formed under the leadership of the Vice-Chancellor. After the information of which the UGC Board has taken its decision. The UGC has also instructed all universities and colleges, that even after this, if a student is not able to take the final year exams, then he should be given the chance of examination later if he finds a suitable reason. In the revised guideline, UGC's maximum emphasis is on final year exams. While for the first and second year, the UGC has already instructed universities to promote on the basis of internal evaluation.
