The entire country is reeling under the grip of the coronavirus epidemic. The cases of corona are increasing day by day. The outbreak of this virus is being seen most in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Delhi in India. So far, 2660 people have been hit by covid-19 in Madhya Pradesh. According to government data, the death rate of people who died of Coronavirus in Ujjain city of the state is 17.51%, where 17 people have died in the last seven days.

In fact, seven of 76 corona patients died in Ujjain till 23 April. Now every fourth patient has died due to this disease in the last seven days. 137 corona cases were reported and 24 people died till Thursday in Ujjain, famous for the Mahakal temple and organizing one of the four Kumbh Melas every 12 years. The death rate due to coronavirus in Indore, the most affected city of Madhya Pradesh, was 4.40% till Wednesday, while in Bhopal it was 2.89%. So far 130 people have died due to coronavirus in Madhya Pradesh and the state has a mortality rate of 4.88%. The death rate of corona in Madhya Pradesh is higher than in the country. Currently, the corona mortality rate in India is 3.19%. Officials said that the government has now included the laboratory of a private medical college in Ujjain for testing as the delay in getting the report is one of the reasons behind the high death rate in the district.

Let us tell you that the first case of covid-19 in Ujjain was revealed on March 25, when after the death of a woman it was confirmed that her corona was infected. As of 31 March, only six cases of corona were reported and two people died. By April 15, the number of covid-19 patients in the city increased to 30 and during this time six people died.
