Bhopal: Former Madhya Pradesh CM Uma Bharti's stand over the liquor ban has once again become tough. She has warned of taking to the streets from Gandhi Jayanti in October to amend the new liquor policy and close down liquor depots. Uma tweeted that she will march with women in Bhopal for prohibition.

Former CM Uma tweeted: "I am a capable and loyal worker of the BJP, so I allowed most of the panchayat and corporation elections to be held. In the meantime, I was silent. Today, I urge you not to be in a dilemma. Everyone should stay in their own place and work according to their ability for it.''

She further wrote that I am resolving a very big problem that from today to October I will ask them to join me in this campaign. Who is not a party worker, office bearer or any other post, then on Gandhi Jayanti in October, I will march with women on the streets of Bhopal against this demonic social evil. Uma Bharti wrote in the tweet that in Madhya Pradesh, my elder brother Shivraj ji is a sattvik person, but when the new liquor policy was announced, it did not reduce my trust and respect for him but I was deeply hurt. I want that our government should amend this policy and present a new liquor policy by separating those which are against the law, against the rules, against the people, and against women.
