Mumbai: Former Home Minister of Maharashtra Anil Deshmukh is not getting bail. Deshmukh, who was badly implicated in the extortion scandal last year, was arrested and has been in jail since then. On several occasions, his bail plea has come before the court, but every time he feels frustrated. Now once again, Anil Deshmukh's bail plea came before the Bombay High Court. This time, too, there was a long hearing. But there was a difference, the judge also became poetic and the advocate who was arguing also gave his reply in the style of a poet.

In fact, due to the hearing, ASG Anil Singh had said that he needed at least two and a half more hours to complete his speech. He also reported that he would not be able to come for a hearing next week. Now that Anil Deshmukh wanted to bail at the earliest, his advocate Vikram Chaudhary appealed to the court to hear the matter at the earliest. He also cited Deshmukh's ill health. It was during this debate that Justice Prithviraj Chavan remembered a poem. This poem was actually written for Bahadur Shah Zafar, the last ruler of the Mughals.

The same Justice Chavan said that Umra-e-Daraz Mang Ke Laai Thi Chaar Din... Do Aarzu Mein Kat Gaye, Do Intezaar Mein. Kitna Badnaseeb Hai Zafar Dafan Ke Lia, Do Gaz Zameen Bhi Na Mili Koocha-e-Yar Mein. Now, Justice Chavan recalled this poem and said that due to this epidemic, how uncertain the life of man has become. Now Justice Chavan put forth his case only through one poem, after this in the court, there was a process of arguing in poetic style.
