A speeding Mercedes car at Radha Swami Chowk on the airport road in Mohali on Saturday morning has further enhanced the hearts and minds of the people. Meanwhile, the Mercedes car first hit an Artilga taxi car, then mowed down 2 cyclists passing by. Finally, the Mercedes car stopped breaking the iron grill along the road about 40 feet away.

Three people have lost their lives in the incident. These include two Artilga car riders and a cyclist. The deceased have been identified as Dharampreet (22) resident Golumajra near Dappar Lalru, Ankur Narula (29) in Jerackpore (both us-based companies), and Ram Prasad. Police have handed over the bodies of all the deceased to the family after the post mortem. The Mercedes car driver escaped from the spot after the incident. Police at Mataur police station has registered a case against the unidentified driver of the Chandigarh number Mercedes car and started investigating the case. Police said the accused will soon be in their custody. It has been revealed that the incident occurred at about 5 am on Saturday morning.

According to information received, eyewitness Naresh Singh Rawat said that he works in a private company in a statement to the police in this regard. On Saturday morning, he finished his duty and left for the house from the cab. His company's Artilga car was going next to his cab. Three of the company's men were Dharampreet Singh, Pradeep Kumar, and Ankush Narula. The car was being driven by Harish Kumar's driver. In the meantime, when he arrived at Radha Swami intersection on the airport road, he saw a black Mercedes car coming from the Chandigarh side.  The driver whose driver was coming at a very fast pace without giving any light. In the meantime, he hit the conductor side of the Artilga car going forward completely. The Ertiga car overturned, while the uncontrollable Mercedes car stopped breaking the grill along the road, trampling two cyclists passing by.

It is also said that all the airbags of the car were opened. So that the Mercedes car rider got the rescue. Meanwhile, Mercedes escaped from the car spot. Dharampreet, who was injured in the accident, died on the spot. The people then admitted Ankush Narula, Pradeep Kumar, and driver Harish Kumar in their private vehicles to the IV hospital in Sector-71. Ram Prasad, a cyclist, succumbed to his injuries in Sector-32 GMCH. While Harish Kumar is undergoing treatment for PGI, Pradeep Kumar and Shri Pal.
