Kollam: In the Kollam district of Kerala, the issue of the undergarments of the students who had come to appear for the medical entrance exam NEET exam is gaining momentum. In this incident, the Kerala Police registered a case and started an investigation. It is being said that due to the checking of the students who came to give the exam, due to the hook in the bra, the beep of the metal detector was ringing, after which the undergarments were removed.
In fact, the father of a girl who had gone to appear for the exam had complained about the matter to the police. After that, the incident came to light. About 90% of the students had to suffer from this problem. The student alleged that when she came out after giving the exam, she saw that everyone's undergarments were kept in the same compartment. After this incident, the girls felt tortured. However, the Marthoma Institute of Information Technology has denied the incident. Police are currently investigating the case.
According to the examination rules, no student can wear any metal object or accessories of any kind in the examination hall. The main motive behind this is to prevent any kind of fraud in the examination. The advisory mentions belts, but there is no mention of things like undergarments. Kerala Higher Education Minister R. Bindu had said on Monday that the exam was not conducted by any government agency. What happened is a big mistake. Such an incident will not be tolerated. We will complain to the exam centre and the National Testing Agency (NTA). The NTA conducts entrance examinations for educational institutions.
