NEW DELHI: The Union Cabinet, in a significant move, has granted its approval for the establishment of an autonomous entity named "Mera Yuva Bharat" (My Bharat). This new initiative represents a pivotal institutional framework aimed at fostering a profound sense of responsibility and commitment among the nation's youth, including those residing abroad. The primary goal is to galvanize and empower the younger generation to actively contribute to India's journey towards becoming a developed nation. Union Minister Anurag Thakur, who made this announcement, elaborated on the comprehensive vision behind this venture.

"Mera Yuva Bharat" will leverage cutting-edge technology to facilitate the holistic development of young individuals, providing them with equitable opportunities to turn their aspirations into tangible realities. This initiative is envisioned to span across various domains of government activity, encompassing a wide spectrum of sectors. It aims to unite the youth, both within the country and beyond its borders, by creating a dynamic digital platform that encourages their active participation in a multitude of voluntary programs and training activities.

Anurag Thakur, while addressing the media about the Cabinet's decisions, emphasized that the fundamental objective of "Mera Yuva Bharat" is to evolve into a comprehensive government-driven platform solely dedicated to youth development. This undertaking reflects a wholehearted commitment to nurturing the potential of the nation's youth, equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and opportunities required to play a pivotal role in India's growth story.
