New Delhi: The first direct cabinet meeting after more than 1 year will be held on Wednesday. PM Narendra Modi to chair Union Cabinet meeting. The Union Cabinet will meet at around 11 noon. Earlier, the Cabinet met in the first week of April last year. At that time, the coronavirus epidemic started spreading in the country.

A cabinet meeting will be held at PM's residence today ahead of the same monsoon session. This is the first detailed meeting with the new Ministers after the cabinet expansion and reshuffle. It is being reported that a number of important issues may be discussed in the meeting. A total of 43 ministers including seven women have joined the pm's new cabinet. Out of these, 36 are new faces. It is expected that some important issues may be discussed in the meeting and some major decisions may also be taken.

PM Modi may discuss corona:-
In this meeting, the PM is likely to discuss the situation in Corona, the steps to be taken in stopping and prevention. A day after the cabinet expansion recently, Prime Minister Modi addressed a cabinet meeting as well as a committee meeting. As a result, Prime Minister Modi had expressed concern over people not following corona rules in crowded places and said that there should be no room for negligence and a minor error could have far-reaching consequences, which could weaken the fight against the epidemic.
