Union Health Ministry lauds Anantapur District Collector in a tweet

Anantapur District Collector Gandham Chandradi was lauded by the Central Government in a recent incident. The Union Ministry of Health on Twitter appreciated the steps being taken by the Collector in Covid care centers. There was a special tweet done at this moment. The Collector observed that people in Covid centers in Anantapur district were feeling isolated due to lack of recreation and past time. It is thought that loneliness can be eradicated by providing physical and mental relaxation.

In order to entertain the mind,  as a part of it, a music system has been set up in the care centers for games and recreational activities like tennis, shuttlecock, volleyball, caroms and music. In the morning and in the evening, whoever feels lonely is given the opportunity to play the games that are there for a given time span. Also, special counselors have been set up in care centers that cheer up the patients there by giving counseling to patients.

The Union Ministry of Health also appreciated the documentary released for the entertainment of patients in COVID care centers. COVID care centers are places that help patients recover faster with the measures taken. After the pandemic started, these centers are started in every state in order to curb the spread of the Corona infection.
