Jammu: Many attacks are carried out by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir. On the occasion of the first year knot to abolish special state status from Jammu and Kashmir, the separatists and the pro-Pakistan faction are planning to celebrate Black Day and hold violent demonstrations. After receiving such information, curfew has been imposed in Srinagar on August 4 and 5. Earlier on Monday, due to the increasing infection of COVID-19, the entire Kashmir Valley has been completely banned again till August 5.

According to Srinagar city magistrate Shahid Chaudhary, the police have information that separatists and pro-Pakistan factions can spread violence under the guise of these demonstrations. Therefore, it has been decided to impose curfew in Srinagar. During the restriction of the entire valley, barring any services other than essential services and emergency medical services are prohibited. Authorities have sealed most of the roads and markets and public cooperation has been requested.

Meanwhile, there was silence in the markets on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan on Monday. Shops remained closed and have been erected at various places to prevent the movement of people. Due to the COVID-19 crisis, this time there were no celebrations in Srinagar on the occasion of Rakshabandhan. Due to the ban, few people reached the Shankaracharya temple for worship. Similar situation remained in other cities of the valley. The cases of coronavirus are increasing day by day in the state.
