New Delhi: There is often a rhetoric about the partition of India and Pakistan. BJP leaders blame the Congress for this. Jitendra Singh, a Union Minister is constantly making statements about Indo-Pak and Kashmir these days. Addressing the people at a function of the World Hindi Council in Delhi, he considered the Indo-Pak partition as the biggest mistake. He also considered the ambition of some people to be the reason for this. The Union Minister said that if the partition had not taken place, then the manner in which the discussion on Jammu and Kashmir is being held today would not have been discussed.

Gandhiji said that if there was a partition, it would be only on his dead body. He was very depressed and went to Bengal on the occasion of India's first Independence Day. Union Minister Singh accused the Congress that the country was divided due to the ambition of some people. If we had understood this, there would not have been such a discussion on Jammu and Kashmir today. Then there would be neither Article 370 nor there would have been discussion about abolishing it.

The minister said that in the history of this one incident, how far we went or came back, you can assess yourself. He said that you can see how much we went forward or backward due to an accident in history. The two-nation theory on the basis of which the partition was made. It proved futile on the day Bangladesh was formed. Let me tell you that earlier Jitendra Singh termed the removal of Article 370 as a major achievement of the 100-day tenure of the Modi government.
