Lucknow: Former MLA Kuldeep Singh, convicted in the Unnao rape case, has been granted interim bail by the High Court. Kuldeep Singh Sengar had filed a petition in the High Court to attend his daughter's wedding. According to media reports, the Delhi High Court has granted bail to Kuldeep Singh Sengar to attend his daughter's wedding.

Former MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar is serving a life sentence in the Unnao rape case. Kuldeep Singh Sengar has been granted bail for 15 days from January 27 to February 10. Kuldeep Singh Sengar was convicted of raping a minor girl of his own village Makhi several times. The girl was a minor at the time of the rape. Kuldeep Singh Sengar was also accused of killing the girl's father.

Let us know that the hearing in this case of the year 2017 was transferred by the Supreme Court to Saket Court in the year 2019. The Chief Justice of India transferred all five cases related to the rape victim from Lucknow to Delhi keeping in mind the letter written by the victim. Kuldeep Sengar was sentenced to life imprisonment after the Supreme Court ordered a day-to-day hearing in the case and directed that the trial be completed within 45 days.
