The Ganga Vilas Cruise, which left For Dibrugarh in Assam from Baba Vishwanath's city Varanasi, got stuck in Chhapra, Bihar. The case is from the Doriganj area of the district, where it is difficult to bring the cruise to shore due to the lack of water in the Ganga river. As soon as the information was received, the administration immediately became alert. The SDRF team is trying to bring tourists to Chirand by small boat. These tourists will see the archaeological importance of Chirand.
Chirand Saran is the most important archaeological site of the Saran district, located near Doriganj market, 11 km southeast of Chhapra. Located on the banks of river Ghaghra, the stupa-like filling is associated with Hindu, Buddhist, and Muslim influences and ups and downs. However, as soon as the Ganga Vilas Cruise reached Chhapra, there were problems to reach the shore due to a lack of water in the river. It got stuck due to low water in the River Ganga. However, the SDRF team immediately became active to ensure that tourists did not face difficulty in reaching Chirang.
Chhapra CO Satendra Singh, who is engaged in arranging for the arrival of tourists, has informed that adequate arrangements have been made for tourists in Chirand. The SDRF team is stationed at the ghat, so that immediate action can be taken in case of any untoward situation. He said that due to low water, there is a problem in bringing the cruise ashore. Therefore, efforts are being made to bring tourists via small boats.
