UP By-Election: Results of 7 Assembly Seats Announces Today, 10% Postal Ballot Counted

Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh, by-elections have been held in seven vacant assembly constituencies of 403 members and results are due today. Under the recent information, 10% postal ballot has been completed at Ghatapur in Kanpur. The counting of votes for the Ghatapur assembly constituency has started at Nobsta Golla Mandi and the process of counting of postal votes has started at present. The postal votes are being counted first.

The polling personnel have started counting the seal of EVMS in the presence of agents as per the rule. With the opening of EVMS, the heartbeats of candidates intensified. The counting workers have taken up Bulandshahar, Amroha, Kanpur City, Unnao, Deoria, Firozabad and Jaunpur in the state and all preparations are in place for counting as per the guidelines issued keeping in view the coronavirus infection.

According to reports, all the results are going to come by noon. This time, counting of votes for Bulandshahr Sadar and Malhani assembly by-election in Jaunpur will be held in three-three recently and counting of votes for the assembly by-election in Bangamau, Firozabad, Naugth Sadat of Amroha, Ghatapur in Kanpur City and Deoria Sadar assembly by-election in Deoria.
