LUCKNOW: The fire of protests against the NRC to the CAA that is erupting day by day is causing chaos and revenge among the people. The Yogi government of UP has decided to bring an ordinance to compensate the people who have damaged public and private properties during protests, agitations, processions and dharna. The draft of the Uttar Pradesh Recovery of Damages to Public and Private Property Ordinance, 2020 was approved in a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at Lok Bhawan in the capital Lucknow on Friday, March 13.

According to the information received, the Yogi government went to the Supreme Court against the High Court's order to remove their photographs and addressable hoardings and posters, which were used to compensate the people who damaged their properties during demonstrations against the Citizenship Amendment Act in the capital Lucknow. Has made this important decision. With this, a total of 30 proposals were approved in the cabinet meeting.

It is also being said that Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna said that the Supreme Court while hearing the writ petition (Criminal) no. During the processions, protests, strikes and agitations, videography was done to damage the properties and ordered to recover the damages from the culprits. Sources say that respecting the order of the Supreme Court, the state government has decided to bring this ordinance.
