Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is angry with senior administrative officials of the state. This resentment is about their working style. A senior official from the state said that the CM meets at the high level to decide. It is the department and the government officials who lead the department. But, still, at times, junior officers are sent to a meeting which is not even clear.

From time to time, it is also revealed that the departmental minister of the subject on which the CM is meeting is not even aware. The CM has expressed displeasure over this. Similarly, the CM has been ordered to provide the information relating to the presentation before the CM to the Chief Minister's Office a day before and send the minutes of the decision taken in the meeting within a maximum of three days for the approval of the CM. These instructions are also not being followed.

Chief Secretary Anoop Chandra Pandey has asked all Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries and Secretaries to ensure their implementation by issuing detailed guidelines in this regard in the direction of the CM. CM Yogi has expressed strong displeasure over the functioning of the senior administrative officers and issued fresh guidelines to ensure compliance. The state government has been accused of running a lax administrative system.
