Lucknow: In a remarkable display of international cooperation, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath actively participated in a significant event jointly organized by the Uttar Pradesh government and the esteemed Embassy of Japan on Friday.

Distinguished guests included the Ambassador of Japan, Hiroshi Suzuki, and Kentaro Orita, a high-ranking Political Counsellor in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.

Earlier today, Uttar Pradesh's forward-thinking government, under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, demonstrated its commitment to bolstering the state's transportation infrastructure by approving a pioneering initiative. This visionary move grants family travel passes to the hardworking contractual employees of the Transport Corporation, marking a pivotal step towards enhancing the state's roadway system.

The news of this government decision has been met with jubilation by the dedicated employees. The groundbreaking announcement was made during a pivotal meeting convened by the Board of Directors, presided over by the Principal Secretary of the Transport Corporation, on October 18. Subsequently, an official letter was issued, officially recommending this transformative decision.

As a direct consequence of this monumental choice, the Board of Directors has issued a directive to ensure that this well-deserved benefit is promptly extended to all contractual employees. Letters have been swiftly dispatched to all regional managers, service managers, and assistant regional managers at various depots, instructing them to expeditiously implement this commendable system.

This collaborative endeavor underscores the state government's commitment to fostering positive change and promoting the welfare of its workforce, ultimately propelling Uttar Pradesh towards a brighter, more prosperous future.
