To handle the surge in travel during the Holi and Good Friday holidays, the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) will roll out special bus services from March 22 to April 1. This move aims to address the expected increase in passengers traveling for Holi celebrations on March 24 and 25, followed by the Good Friday holiday and subsequent weekend.

In preparation for the rush, the department has called off leaves for its staff for 10 days to ensure smooth operations amidst the heightened demand. Additionally, the transport corporation plans to incentivize its drivers and conductors for efficient service delivery during this busy period.

During this time, there will be an uptick in the number of buses running from Delhi towards eastern Uttar Pradesh, facilitating timely travel for passengers to their respective destinations. This initiative seeks to alleviate congestion and ensure hassle-free journeys for commuters during the festive season.
