Crackdown on Mukhtar Ansari gang continues, husband and wife's assets worth Rs 2.5 crore attached

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh's Bahubali ex-MLA Mukhtar Ansari gang IS 91 aide Anand Yadav and his wife Meera's immovable property worth Rs 2.5 crore have been attached by the administration on Friday. After the order of the DM, the attachment was completed under the supervision of Municipal Magistrate Tribhuvan Kumar, Circle Officer Dhananjay Mishra and Sub-Collector.

City Magistrate Tribhuvan Kumar informed that strict action is being taken against the culprits and the illegal property acquired by them as per the intention of the government. In this episode, action has been taken on the court order of DM Arun to attach the property acquired in a haphazard manner of Anand Yadav and his wife Meera, an associate of the Mukhtar gang under Section 14(1) of the Uttar Pradesh Prevention of Gang-rape and Anti-Social Activities Act, 1986. The action of attachment was taken by defaming land worth Gata No. 2172 Acreage 168 Link, Government Value of Rs.4968000 and Market Value Rs.2.5 crore of Revenue Village Pardaha.

553/553/2017 against Anand Kumar Yadav, a close aide of Mukhtar Ansari, at Police Station Sarailakhansi. 2008 Sections 325, 323, 504, 506 of IPC 147, 323, 504, 506, 452, IPC and 7 CLA Act 185 BATA/7 A case has been registered under sections 419, 420, 467, 468, 471, 120B, IPC.
