SP-Congressmen clash over Gandhi statue, district president attempts self-immolation

Moradabad: Samajwadi Party leaders and congressmen clashed over the October 2 sit-in near the Civil Line police station area of Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh. After the controversy, Congress district President Vinod Gurbar tried to put himself on fire by adding petrol.

He created a ruckus among the policemen and others present on the occasion. The policemen somehow saved Congress district President Vinod Gurbar from putting himself on fire. Thereafter, the police rushed Vinod Gurbar to the District hospital. He was sent to private hospitals. It is reported that petrol has reached the eyes of the Congress president. Civil Line police station Incharge Nawal Marwa said that Vinod has been admitted to the hospital. 

On the other hand, corona is becoming more lethal for patients dealing with diseases like diabetes, thyroid, hypertension, in Kanpur. Six more patients have died in the corona infected. Most of them have already been affected by life-style chronic diseases. The corona death figure has gone up to 670. The total number of infections is 25264 and 21398 patients have been cured in hospitals and home isolation. Active cases are 3196.
