Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Khanna informed about this decision in the meeting of the Business Advisory Committee. He said that the Mahashivaratri holiday was scheduled on February 21 as per the pre-determined schedule. On the request of all the major parties, the holiday was decided on 20 February. Due to this, now the meeting will be held on 24 February because the house will not run on 22 and 23 February, being a Saturday and Sunday holiday.
