Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken a strict stand in cases of administrative irregularities and corruption. He has given instructions for the investigation of the property of suspended Senior Superintendent of Police Abhishek Dixit of Prayagraj and Mani Lal Patidar, suspended Police Inspector of Mahoba. Abhishek Dixit has been on trial for some time.
CM Yogi has ordered to probe the property of both the suspended officers. While giving this information, a spokesman of the Uttar Pradesh Home Department said that the police officers involved in the irregularities committed by the suspended officers have been separately ordered and punished. Along with this, all the properties of Abhishek Dixit will be investigated.
On the other hand, 7042 new patients of COVID-19 have been found in the state on Thursday. Additional Chief Secretary Medical Health Amit Mohan Prasad said that the number of active patients in the state is 66,317 and out of these 35,036 are in home isolation. A total of 2,21,506 people have been completely recovered and discharged. The recovery rate in the state is 75.85 per cent. Additional Chief Secretary said that 1,49,311 samples were investigated in the state yesterday (Wednesday). A total of 70,66,208 samples have been investigated so far. The cases of corona are continuously increasing in the state.
